This is not the first quilt that I ever made but it is the quilt that started me off on quilting again in 2000. I bought it from the Quilt Room in Dorking.
I always use it at Christmas.
I made a couple of quilts in the 1980's but I don't have any of them now. Since 2001 I have probably made 5 per year.
Some I have given away to friends , others still in the UFO box.!
Lately I have been making smaller things> It started with cushions, then I made Christmas decorations. For Valentines day I made hearts in many variations of pink felt .
Most recently I have been making bird shaped lavender bags.I bought some great lavender on Ebay.... I think it is French it has a really strong aroma.
